The fact that debating if I should be cliche and introductory for my first post or simply jump right in is truly among the biggest decisions I’ve made over this particular Christmas break speaks for itself. Among other so-called “big decisions”: whether I should drive home Saturday or Sunday and what movie to see with my sister. (I’m going on Sunday, and my sister and I saw We Are Marshall, which is beautiful — a surprising adjective for a football movie — and features the always fabulous Mr. Matthew Fox.)
I think I’ll compromise. I’m going head first, and I’ll tell y’all a little about me later.
What I will tell y’all now is that I don’t make New Year’s resolutions simply because they are not among my top priorities, so I forget I’ve made them. However, I am hyper-organized and pretty much hell bent on making a New Year’s resolution, so I thought up the Resolve to Resolve plan. Each month has its own resolution, and each week will have a goal to reach or project to finish to lend to the achievement of the resolution. In true resolution fashion, Resolve to Resolve starts Sunday with Get Fit!
Also, I am not going to be the one to tell my roommate The OC got cancelled. I’m just not.
And one more thing: If y’all have seen the movie The Last Kiss, which was wonderful, or heard its soundtrack, there’s a lovely little artist featured. Her name is Schuyler Fisk, and she is also an actress, first seen in The Baby Sitters Club movie. I am not ashamed to say I read all those books when I was little and also saw the movie. Anyway, y’all should check her out because she is just fabulous. And that’s really all I’ve got.
