Someone Googled “Paula Deen conceited” and got to my blog. Paula is not conceited, y’all. I faithfully stand by her and Martha Stewart, felon or not.
Also, today is the first day since January 8 that I have not worked out. I feel like a failure, but whatever. Last week’s goal of not eating past nine kind of fell through toward the end, so to make up for it, I am not eating past nine for the next few days. This week’s goal is to eat healthy — watch fried foods, dessert, etc. I’m doing a pretty good job because I freaking love fruits and vegetables … and granola.
This is random, but I wrote a paper on How I Met Your Mother last night. I’m not a big TV person — just Grey’s and Lost — but my parents and awesome friend Elizabeth watch How I Met Your Mother occasionally. It’s actually very funny and good for semiological analysis. Also, I’m pretty sure my professor loves Neil Patrick Harris, so I earned some brownie points for that choice. (Not going to lie … I know my professor loves Neil Patrick Harris. That was considered, if not premeditated, when I chose my show. Also, the fact that it is funny and short may have come into play because that paper got turned in this morning.)
Okay, I’m out. I need some sleep before I get to be the weather girl again tomorrow.
Oh, and seriously, what does one wear to a roller disco-themed party?

May I suggest suiting up?
