The desire to become a radio personality must be ingrained. I see no other reason why all radio personalities are out of their minds. Never in my life have I experienced so many crazy people, and neither side of my family is particularly well-known for sanity and/or normality. I really wish I could record the conversations that take place at the station because the most ridiculous things are said. The fact that the phrase “like, cocaine excited” has been used in my presence speaks for itself.
In other radio news, I will begin recording public service announcements next week. Don’t even pretend like I won’t plug stuff for my sorority. Philanthropy events need good PR, and I just so happen to have a passion for PR. That is, after all, my major.
Speaking of philanthropy events, my sorority is doing a HUGE one next week. It’s going to be amazing, and we’re going to be donating a lot of money to our national philanthropy. I just know it’s going to be the biggest thing to ever happen to our chapter philanthropy-wise. We are just that good.
Hm … what else? I have been applying for jobs. Will someone please pray that I find one? I need to buy some very expensive plane tickets to Canada for this summer, and I am not at all interested in adding to my debt. I’m just saying.
AND one last thing: Pre-registration begins on February 26. I will be registering for classes for my first semester of senior year. I only need to take eighteen more hours — nine each semester. However, to be a full-time student, I need at least twelve. To remain sane and rational, I need at least fifteen. That means I will be taking six hours of classes per semester that are completely unrelated to my major or the liberal arts core my university enforces. So what am I going to take? Any suggestions?
I’ll leave y’all on this note: “I believe in the good. I believe that it’s been a hell of a year, and I believe that in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, we will all be okay.” – Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl), Grey’s Anatomy

You know what class you would enjoy? Marriage and the family.
