A. I recently bought the March issue of Marie Claire, and there is a trend report on cohabitation. I think I could write an entire entry about cohabitation simply to impart the wisdom I have learned from Marie Claire. Who knew I would learn something from a magazine like Marie Claire?
B. Speaking of magazines, I have two stacks of magazines in my dorm room: one of Vanity Fair, my favorite magazine (and the second subscription in my name. The first? Teen People, of course.), and the other of random magazines featuring cover stories on people I like. That stack includes Ashley Judd, Ellen Pompeo, and Liv Tyler. Is it weird that I only buy magazines when people I like are on the cover?
C. Is it weird that I usually only call my parents when I’m working out? I talk to them at least once a week (hopefully more), and if it’s a weekday, I usually choose to call them while I’m on the treadmill. There is something to be said for multitasking.
D. My sister might be coming to visit soon! I am so excited, but I hope she won’t get too bored. I’m busy, and I don’t want her to think my school is boring just because I’m in class, working, or in a meeting.
E. Y’all know how I flipped out a little about not having a job last night? I went to my internship this morning, and they’re looking for part-time board operators (mostly nights and weekends). My supervisor told me about it, as did one of the other DJs, so I am DEFINITELY going to talk to the program director about it Friday. Keep y’all’s fingers crossed, please! This could be GREAT. And speaking of great, when I called my parents tonight, they told me not to worry about my insurance. They said for me to use that money to buy my plane tickets to Canada! I was not expecting that, and I asked my mama if she was sure about eighty trillion times, but oh, wow … isn’t that great?
I guess that’s all for now. It’s about time for venting and chocolate before Orientation training tonight. Love, love, love. Things are looking up!
