- I will be receiving an award at my school’s awards convocation next week. I’m not sure what award I will be receiving — It’s a secret? — but I am very excited. Also, to say that I am curious as to what this mysterious award could be is a complete and total understatement. I even Googled a list of honors my school gives out in a fit of curiosity but to no avail … I suppose I will just have to be surprised. When I went to see the conference coordinator to tell her whether or not I’d be able to attend, she said she couldn’t tell me, to which I responded, “Oh, good! It’ll be just like the Oscars.”
- I almost ingested partially uncooked chicken at dinner tonight. Thanks, Chili’s.
- My boyfriend is twenty-one today! As his sister said, he is now “finally able to do legally what [he's] done since [he was] eighteen.” Awesome.
- My French professor is about one centimeter away from the wrath of Allie. Everyone keep your fingers crossed/say a little prayer for me and this silly trip! I just want everything to work out …
Um, I guess that’s it. Time to go be responsible and go train some future leaders. Love!
