I haven’t written about Resolve to Resolve in FOREVER, but I promise I’m still keeping to it. January was all about fitness — walking one mile every day, going to the Wellness Center, watching what I eat, etc. — and it worked. It worked so well, in fact, that one mile a day quickly turned into two miles a day. I’ve only missed three days this year. That’s pretty good, right?
February’s theme was love. I put myself back in contact with a few friends I hadn’t spoken to in a while, made Valentines, and complimented and supported people. I still try to send the occasional Facebook message to people I haven’t heard from in a while, so I think this “instilling lasting habits” thing might just be working ;).
In March, I resolved to get pretty by doing my nails at least once, finding the perfect lip gloss, sleeping, and buying something for ME that I don’t need. I wish I could say I’m working on keeping up those, but I have a hard time spending money on things I don’t absolutely need, finding time to do my nails, and/or sleeping. I mean, I’m a junior in college. Surely the physicians mean four hours of sleep a night is appropriate.
This month, I’m cleaning up and cleaning out and all sorts of fun things. I guess that’ll start with cleaning the bathroom and finishing laundry today. It’s been so crazy around here that I keep putting it off, but I know it’ll get done … mostly because if I don’t do it, no one else will haha.
Well, that’s all. Off to clean up my act a little.
