Yep, I definitely just quoted Justin Timberlake. One of the girls on my Orientation staff saw him at a Chili’s in the Memphis area a while ago … pretty jealous.
Anyhow, Orientation training starts tomorrow, so people are slowly but surely moving their way back to Jackson, and I am PUMPED. It’s been a lonely summer, and I need friends again. And something to do. And people to hang out with. And to make new friends with the amazing freshman class. And to be around people.
My sorority held its annual Recruitment Retreat this weekend, and it was nothing short of fantastic. I love being able to spend so much quality time with my beautiful sisters. Besides, we spent the weekend preparing to get our new sisters, and there’s nothing better than that! I am so excited for this year it hurts.
Other than that, not much else is new. It’s hotter than the hinges of hell down here, and there’s no rain in sight for the next ten days. I’m going to need for things to get a little cooler soon. I can’t handle the heat.
I think that’s about it. Still no news on my car … keep your fingers crossed for me!
