Senior year has started, and all the busy-ness has commenced. I never thought this year would be as nuts as it has been, but then again, this year has felt about a trillion times longer than the week and a half it has been.
Besides classes, which are going well, thanks, I’ve been busy spending inordinate amounts of time with my beautiful sorority sisters preparing for the big show, Recruitment! I am anxious to get my new sisters. Y’all keep your fingers crossed for us to get lots and lots of new sisters. I want, like, twenty, so think good thoughts!
That’s just about it, though: class, Recruitment, and sleeping. Okay, let’s not kid ourselves here … not much sleeping has happened since … oh, the beginning of August? It’s been worth it, though. Homecoming stuff is about to consume my life, and I’m sure everything else will start doing that, too. I’m having lots of fun not being lonely, and I’m just over-the-top excited to get new sisters (and because my boys got fourteen fabulous new members tonight!). I’m also still learning to deal with being single and still being friends with the ex. Not easy, to say the least.
I guess that’s really it for now. I’ll update again soon, I promise! I hope to be able to update in the comfort of my own house one day soon, but that seems a bit far fetched. Oh, the joys of no internet.
