Recruitment is officially over, and I have nine amazing and beautiful new sisters! All the hard work and lack of sleep was worth it to see the best of the best join my wonderful sorority last Sunday. Even better — my little joined on Sunday, and although I have no idea which new member she is, I know she’s fabulous :).
Homecoming planning is getting under way, so in typical Allie fashion, the minute something starts slowing down, something else starts picking up. I wonder if I’ll ever find out that there’s a limit to how much time you can give to … well, everything. I know there is, actually; I just wonder when I’ll really get it.
In other news, I think I have a steady babysitting job. I meet the family tomorrow, and I hope it works out. It’d be nice to have some extra money, and one night a week with a three-year-old sounds like fun to me! I’m also loving my new work study. It’s so nice working for a group of crazy people, not one crazy woman who might as well have a group of different personalities. Besides, working in Admissions is certainly a possible career path. Working as a personal assistant? Not so much.
