Apparently, my college’s choir has a blog … I guess everyone really does blog.
Anyhow, Fall Break completely screwed me up. I’m not sure whose idea it was to have Fall Break on a Monday and Tuesday, but it’s not a good one. I kept thinking it was Monday all day today. That, not to mention the overwhelming lack of sleep this morning, has made me a little confused and scatterbrained all day today. I don’t know what my problem is, but I felt like the biggest flake all day. Oh, well … tomorrow is another day, and even better — it’s Thursday!
Every time I’ve checked my e-mail today, the news page mentions Baby Jessica, the girl who fell down a well twenty years ago. I think it’s interesting people are revisiting this; I’m not saying it’s not important — It is. — but what do they expect? I wonder if any journalists were like, “Wow! You’re surprisingly well-adjusted for someone who fell down a well at eighteen months.” Something to think about.
Another something to think about: Halloween is quickly approaching, and I’m trying ot figure out what my costume should be. Any suggestions? I’m clueless and not very creative when it comes to this whole costume business. Maybe I’ll pay homage to my internship/part-time summer employment and be a weather girl. I have the rain boots … and I’m glad I do ’cause it’s falling a flood outside right now. That’s newsworthy, right? It looks like a hurricane, but I’m fairly certain hurricanes aren’t possible in West Tennessee. Maybe in Memphis because of the Mississippi River, but definitely not in Jackson. Right? I’m going to Google that. Rest assured if I find anything blog-worthy, it’ll be on here pronto. What else do I have to do?
