I think there’s a point when your teaching style should no longer include showing videos to supplement what you’re teaching. Shakespeare isn’t that challenging, is it? There’s a reason there are annotated versions of his works. That should be sufficient. There is no need to watch a video. Come on, y’all. Maybe I’m biased because I read Macbeth a whopping six years ago, but seriously, it’s not that complicated.
On a lighter but still related note, who knew Hugh Hefner produced a version of Macbeth? I had no idea he had such an interest in the arts. I guess I can’t say I haven’t learned anything from that class, huh?
It’s classes like these that make me wish it were Christmas break.
