Conflicted.

It rained all day today, and the university even closed at four, cancelling all night classes, because it might freeze. Now, nothing is frozen where I live (That’d be on campus.), so I have no reason to believe the classes will be cancelled again tomorrow. I only have one, and I dread going because it is in the afternoon and lasts for over two hours, and I just have no focus this week, and I don’t want to go, and just imagine that my voice got increasingly whiny over those past few statements. Anyway, for the benefit of those with actual classes tomorrow, I really want classes to be cancelled, BUT I need to get an official transcript from my school. And two other things relating to offices on campus. If classes are cancelled, the offices will be closed. And I neeeed that stuff. By tomorrow. So do I make the sacrifice of going to my least favorite class to finish something very, very important, or do I deal with it?

I am going with sucking it up. And maybe my willingness to put up with an awful class will be rewarded by afternoon classes being cancelled?

Probably not.

On a brighter note, the good treadmill in the wellness center is fixed, and I am happy! It was especially helpful today because it meant there were at least three cardio machines and an intentionally loud iPod between me and the creeper who deemed it appropriate to make conversation THE SECOND I OPENED THE DOOR. Did I mention he was a complete stranger? And said, “Are you going to teach me how to work out?” while running on the elliptical? And then, when ignored (I know, so rude, but I was thoroughly weirded out.), said, “What? You ain’t got time for me?” And that I had to fight the urge to say, “You clearly ain’t got time to learn the English language, so why should I talk to you?” And, on top of everything else, asked me to change the channel on the TV nearest to him?

I hate gyms.
