Thanks to Don for leaving a comment with the definition of “Jordans on Saturday.”  I’m glad someone knows what kids these days are talking about.  And in case you stumbled across this blog in search of an answer, it means “fresh” or “brand new” because Nike puts out new shoes, including Jordans, on Saturday.  Don says his friend, an employee at Nike headquarters, told him, so that is from an expert, y’all.  Now you can listen to Chris Brown and be in the know.

Moving on, I am ruling out a career as a receptionist.  I answered the phones at my new internship this semester for the whole time I was there, and it got pretty old pretty fast.  It made me feel really good to help people, though; I’m at the Red Cross, and considering the recent tornadic activity in my area, it’s hoppin’ at the Red Cross.  And that’s totally cool … unless you don’t really know anything about disaster relief and have to keep asking questions.  In any case, I am so glad no one called me today.

Speaking of careers, I am taking a career aptitude test on Thursday.  I am really hoping something in communications and/or public relations is part of the results.  Now would probably be a bad time to find that out, right?  And if it’s not on there, I’m probably going to go into full-on quarter-life crisis mode, complete with anxiety and panic attacks and tons of self doubt.  Should be interesting (or, as I have been known to say, inchersting … or innerestin’.) … and pretty.

Um, I think that’s it.  I mean, for now.  You know I’ll be blogging again after I take that career test.  I mean, y’all should be the first to know that I am suited for my major and if I’m going to fully live up to the expectations y’all might have from the title of this blog.
