Miss Me Yet?

Don’t answer that.  I know the answer is yes, of course.

The internet is broken at my house, so I have been reduced to using the internet in the lab, which creeps me out.  There’s something very impersonal about public computers, and I would much rather check my Facebook ten times a day from the comfort of my own couch than once a day on a computer other people’s hands have been all over.  (I’m not down with the communicable diseases.  I haven’t been sick this flu season yet, and I fully intend on keeping it that way.)

In new news, I am stressed out to the max, and I am very grateful that spring break is upon us.  I’m going to my parents’ house (very glamorous, I know), sleeping in, and trying to figure out my life.  I am so ready to be done with classes, but I’m not ready to leave all my friends yet; it’s a completely weird feeling to want to move on to something new but not leave everything I know.  I think I’ll figure it out one day, but that day is not today.  Or any time this week.  Or in February.

On the bright side, I have been spending some time on Hot Jobs and Career Builder and perusing my options.  It’s not as scary as I thought, this whole job search thing.  I’m positive it will become much scarier when I actually start interviewing and stuff, but that won’t be for a while, as I have only applied for one job.  (I didn’t get it, PS.  Too many applicants, not enough positions, but they loved my application and are keeping it on file.  That’s basically the story of my life haha.)

And because it wouldn’t be a blog without a little unnecessary information, I thought I’d share with y’all the fact that I am teething.  My last wisdom tooth is coming in, and it is two hundred times more painful than the others.  Granted, the others were not painful, but now I understand why babies are so miserable when their teeth are coming in.  And on a semi-related note, is there any correlation between teething and headaches?  I’ve had a lot of headaches lately, and I’m just curious as to whether the arrival of my fourth wisdom tooth has anything to do with that.  Holler back, especially if you’re in the medical or dental profession!

That’s all :).  I’m going to bed.  I’ve got my internship tomorrow morning, and on the off chance that there’s nothing for me to do, I’ll need to stay awake.
