The internet is still broken at my house, so my little ol’ blog has had to take a backseat to … well, pretty much everything. I have zero desire to update this in the school computer lab (It just seems so sketchy.), so here I am, just a-hanging out at Elizabeth’s, finally updating the free world about my glamorous life.
Among the more interesting things to happen in my life as of late: Yesterday saw the best blog stats day of my blog’s career. Over two hundred people visited this very site in search of Kellie Pickler’s hairstyle or the meaning of Jordans on Saturday. I am honored to be so helpful to the internet. First it was acrostic poems, now it’s crazy slang from Chris Brown songs. I feel kind of important.
(Speaking of Chris Brown, Elizabeth and I heard “With You” at least five times on the way back to Jackson. That almost beats that time I heard Keith Urban’s “I Told You So” about nine times. I love radio.)
In other very exciting news, I will be scheduling — Count ‘em! — three job interviews in the very near future. I just submitted resumes last night, so I am pretty excited that I am impressive to three companies. Impressive enough to contact for an interview, anyway. We’ll see how charming I can be … and if charming can perhaps be parlayed into a sign on bonus and a salary upon which I can live comfortably and start paying back student loans. Y’all keep your fingers crossed for me, and I’ll keep y’all updated!
