Another number/list post!
1. I’m heading to Jackson tomorrow (or Wednesday)! I’ll be staying with an old roommate, and I’ll get to see quite a few friends from school. As it turns out, I have excellent timing and will be in town the same weekend as pre-registration for the new students. I guess it’s the Orientation Coordinator in me to have that kind of luck.
2. Also, someone I went to school with is getting married that weekend, so there will be plenty of people in town for the wedding. The real question is: Do I leave on Friday, or do I leave on Saturday? I’d love to hang out and see everyone, but I know how exhausting Orientation stuff is, and I know a lot of the Orientation people are leaving town after pre-registration on Friday … decisions, decisions.
3. As much as I’d like to think this is a little vacay, the real reason I’m heading to the homeland is because I have a job interview in Memphis on Thursday! Keep your fingers crossed and think plenty of good thoughts for me Thursday afternoon — this could be it, and if I’m REALLY lucky, it will be!
4. I think I’m obsessed with The Office.
5. Is two hours too far to drive for a concert? Hm.
