Things Someone Should Buy Me

1. The Bender Ball: It’s 408% more effective than regular crunches! I saw it on TV last night and decided I want one. And I won’t get offended and think you think I’m fat because you bought me one.

2. A Dooney and Bourke purse: I’m not usually one for expensive purses and stuff — The majority of my purses come from Target, actually — but I like this giraffe print one a lot, and y’all know I love this zebra one in gray and white.

3. Giraffe print shoes: They’re from Target, and they’re adorable. They have a zebra pair that’s similar, but there’s just something about the giraffe print. I have a serious animal print obsession — but only in accessories. It’s got to be in small doses.

4. Vera Bradley ANYTHING: I am obsessed with Vera Bradley. My pattern is peacock. I love the Handbag, Lola, and Bowler styles as well as the duffel bags and travel accessories. And this planner is too, too cute.

5. Alex Woo Jewelry: I love the Little Faith Peace Dove necklace in sterling silver, the Narissa Collection, and the Vida Collection. I also think the Little Letters are really sweet, but I tend to like monogram-y things. One of my good friends bought me a necklace with a tiny letter a on it, and I wore the crap out of it. I miss it.

6. Paloma’s Celtic Love Pendant: It’s from Tiffany’s, so that makes it even better! I guess while we’re at it, I should say I’d take anything from Tiffany’s, most notably a big ol’ engagement ring from Mr. Right. But I’d also take a cheap-o ring engraved at Tiffany a la Breakfast at Tiffany’s … I’m not really picky :).

7. Dresses from J. Crew: I love J. Crew’s preppy and classic style, but it is kind of way out of my budget at this point in my life, which is why someone should buy me this dress in stone, this dress in dark khaki, and this dress in black. I’ll wear them to work ALL the time. Promise.

In other news, I’ve been feeling a little down lately — not sure why, but there it is — so in addition to some pretend retail therapy (See above!), I have some music therapy:

Everybody on the street can see
You’re taking back what you gave free
A change has come around
And now you’ll watch them all fall down
You look just like a loaded gun
It’s time for you to have some fun
Right back to the start
Well, honey, you’ll just tear ‘em all apart

Hearts are gonna roll tonight.
It’s time to pay them back
For all the times
They left you on your own
Out in the cold
Oh, my darlin’, tonight
Hearts are gonna roll.
- Will Hoge, “Hearts Are Gonna Roll”

Kinda makes you feel like a BA, doesn’t it?
