Today, much like yesterday, I plan on doing little to nothing. I might do something fun and tourist-y like visit Underground Atlanta or the site of the 1996 Olympics (Ah, the days before I was completely obsessed with anything relating to the Olympics. That was so twelve years ago … and so one really attractive and ridiculously talented US Men’s Olympic Swim Team ago.) or something else fun. However, the thought of driving in Atlanta one more time makes me want to stay in my hotel room and do absolutely nothing.
Speaking of hotel rooms, Choice has completely bought my loyalty. Upon checking in yesterday afternoon, I learned that Choice had upgraded me to a suite FOR FREE. That’s pretty awesome. Would it be considerably more awesome if I had friends in the are and could entertain or host a really BA old school sleepover or something that would justify little ol’ me having a whole hotel suite to herself? Absolutely, but free upgrades are free upgrades, and I’ll take it.
In other news, my alma mater’s football team won its second game in a row yesterday. This is good. It may actually help recruit private school football players. That is, if I ever get to talk to students again. Oh, man … I miss college fairs. And NO, Elizabeth, the reason you’re thinking of is NOT the only reason I miss them, thank you very much. (But it is part of it.)
That’s all. I have to go do something remotely productive because Ghost just started, and if I don’t move NOW, I’m going to get sucked into it and the subsequent films to follow on HBO’s apparent Whoopi Goldberg marathon. If Boys on the Side comes on, I am screwed.
