1. I waged battle against two more companies today. Only two of them have truly met with the wrath of Allie. The other one was actually quite polite and helpful and patient. The other two? Totally on my bad side.
2. I’m ordinarily a really sweet, polite person. I always say please and thank you, and I have very good manners. However, my patience with people with no common sense is very limited. If someone is rude to me, especially in a customer service position, I have no problem standing up for myself. If someone is completely useless, I have no problem requesting a supervisor so I can both share how useless their employees are and get the answer I need. Moral of the story: Don’t be mean to me, and don’t be useless. Just answer my question nicely, and I’ll be a happy camper.
3. I gouged my thumb with a fork within ten minutes of getting home from work. I’m thankful it was my left thumb because it hurts quite a bit, and I can’t imagine how I’d be productive at all if it would have been my right thumb. The thumb injury goes along with a pretty big scratch on the top of my foot. I did that getting out of my car. I think it may be some sort of karmic retribution for getting a little sassy with some customer service representatives. I really should try to be more patient.
