1. I gave blood today! I didn’t pass out, I didn’t get nauseous, I wasn’t scared, and I’m really proud of myself. All of the girls from the office went — all three female counselors, our two administrative assistants, and my intern — and all but one of us could and did give blood. We deserve some sort of award for that.
2. As it turns out, needles? Not so scary.
3. Last year, I was pretty confident I was iron deficient, but my iron level is apparently normal and healthy. This news was met with a resounding, “AWESOME!” I am lame. It’s the little things in life, though, and apparently, not being anemic is pretty exciting.
