Fun Fact Tuesday:
1. I watched the latest season of America’s Next Top Model this weekend. I’m pretty mad at myself for getting sucked into it, but I’m even more mad that I now feel I have some sort of personal stake in this season. I need to know who wins! I may actually break my personal promise to avoid The CW at all costs just to see who wins. (For the record, I’m going for Allison.)
2. Speaking of The CW, my former roommate was obsessed with One Tree Hill and all manner of terrible CW programming, so when I saw an article on Yahoo! talking about Chad Michael Murray leaving the show, I had to click on the link. While reading the story, I noticed the picture they had posted in the article, and I was really surprised to see the girl in the background wearing something I own. (Check it out. I totally have that dress! It’s from Forever 21, and it’s probably one of my favorite things ever.) I feel famous by association, kind of like when The Avett Brothers asked to follow me on Twitter (after I started following them, of course). The whole Avett Brothers thing is way cooler, though … way, way, way cooler.
3. I got the greatest compliment of my life yesterday. Of all the girls a good friend of mine knows — and that’s a lot of girls, y’all — I am the only one he considers to be a true lady. See? Having good manners and a copy of The Amy Vanderbilt Complete Guide to Etiquette pays off.
