Fun Fact Tuesday is here, and so are your three fun facts about yours truly:
1. I’m always, always cold. Even though it’s eighty-something degrees and mega humid in Jackson, I had to turn off my air conditioning because seventy-five degrees inside was just too cold. In my defense, I had just been air conditioned to death at work. Um, y’all want to cut expenses? Maybe you try setting the thermostat a bit higher.
2. One of my favorite things to do is drive around Jackson at night with the windows down and the music loud. As far as ways to clear my head go, it’s up there with running and working out. It may not be the most environmentally friendly thing to do, and I assure you I don’t do this often, but it’s a fantastic way for me to get some thinking and crying and praying done.
3. Threatening to beat people with shoes is apparently hereditary. My mama threatened my daddy with her shoe while he was in the hospital recently. (Did I not mention that? My daddy was in the hospital with diverticulitis a week or so ago. He’s doing fine now.) The nurse overheard her, too. I guess putting yourself in awkward situations is also hereditary, so thanks for that, Mama.
